Cat sketch 2018

So, it’s been back to the usual absence of art work. I’ve been distracted with other artistic and work commitments which has blocked up any creative juices that I managed to get flowing. So for the first time in weeks I’ve managed to sit down and sketch this guy. Trying to plan out some projects for the year just to give me something to aim for.

Last of the doodles

Night three of reminding myself how to hold a pen and also how much fun I can have when I’m not worrying about what my work may end up being or the context and meaning of the image. This is a 10 min sketch and colour using the iPad again, the doodle is probably 7 or 8 years old and I’ve just used it as a back plate for inspiration.

Back to the old sketch book

Still flicking through old pages of my book, I think I’ll get more ambitious as I progress through sketches but right now I’m getting used to drawing everything with my finger, I think it’s time to purchase a stylus.

Doodle….

In a bid to try and produce more work I’ve started doodling via my iPad. Really enjoying the convenience of picking up the drawing at any point and also the ability to colour at any point. I’ve also attached the original sketch.
